Removing Dirt
Wet a cloth with warm water and mild soap and gently wipe any dirt away in the direction of the hair growth. Try not to get the shoe too wet in this process.
Grooming your shoes
Gently brush the shoe with a small hard bristled brush. Depending on how often you wear your shoes, it is advised that you do this at least once a month to reduce the buildup of dirt.
Protect your pony hair shoes
Protect your shoes from general wear and tear using a protective spray on the pony hair only. To ensure no spray touches the embellishments it is advised that you wrap the heel in cling film before you apply the protective spray. Not all protective sprays are meant for pony hair, so be sure to read the label first.
Warning: Always read and follow the manufacturer's directions on the label for patent leather cleaning/protector products and always make sure you have adequate ventilation before spraying.
